Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of new play equipment, site furniture and pathways. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Removals; (b) Excavation and site grading; (c) Drain basin and subsurface drainage; (d) Chain link and wooden fencing; (e) Timber edging and reinforced timber retaining wall; (f) Play equipment, including swings and natural play elements; (g) Engineered wood fibre safety surfacing; (h) Asphalt pathways; (i) Mulch groundcover; (j) Site furniture; (k) Trees; and (l) Soil and sod. The funds available for this Contract are $380,000. (a) a Performance Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H1: Performance Bond), in the Amount of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (B) a Labour and Material Payment Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H2: Labour and Material Payment Bond), in an Amount Equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price Commercial general liability insurance, in the amount of at least two million dollars ($2,000,000.00) inclusive, with The City of Winnipeg added as an additional insured, with a cross-liability clause, such liability policy to also contain contractual liability, unlicensed motor vehicle liability, sudden and accidental pollution liability, non-owned automobile liability and products and completed operations, to remain in place at all times during the performance of the Work and throughout the warranty period Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
