As of May 17, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. For locker rooms remodel work at the Middle School, 215 W. South Street, Stronghurst, IL 61480 held at the Unit Office located in the Elementary portion of the Elementary and Sr. High School Campus, rural Biggsville, IL 61418 at the intersection of old U.S. Route 34 and Illinois Route 116. Proposals shall be accompanied by Bid Guarantee in form of a Bid Bond for 5 percent of the gross amount of the bid, made payable as described in the Contract Documents. Such bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages by the Bidder should he fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the following number of days: 10 after notification of acceptance of his proposal. The bid bonds of all excepting the three lowest formal bidders will be returned within the following number of days after bid opening: 7, and the remaining bid bonds will be returned within the following number of days after bid opening: 30, with the exception mentioned above. All proposals must be made on forms furnished by the architect. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least this number of calendar days: 30. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. All work performed on this project shall comply with Illinois Statutes concerning payment of prevailing wages.
