Renovation of an educational facility in Dalzell, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work consists of replacement roof assembly on the existing Gymnasium in it's entirety. Single prime lump sum contract. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid amount proposed, in the form of a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond, must accompany bids. Selected bidder is required to provide a satisfactory performance bond and labor & material payment bond covering the full performance of the contract. The costs of the bonds are to be included in each contractor's bid proposal. Selected Bidders must assure that all persons employed by Bidder, and all applicants for such employment, will not be discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, age or national origin. Selected Bidder will be required to pay prevailing rates of wages to all employees engaged in the project work and provide certified payroll indicating full compliance. Such prevailing rates to be as determined by the U.S. Dept, of Labor for the area in which project Is located. Selected bidder will be required to provide documentation of participation in apprenticeship and training programs approved and registered with the United States Department of Labor's Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding, and to award contract in Owner's best interests.
