Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lexington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Pleasant Street Improvements. The Work consists of roadway improvements along approximately 2,400 feet of Pleasant Street between Massachusetts Avenue south to the intersection with Watertown Street including the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Watertown Street. The work includes minor roadway widening, full depth pavement construction, milling and overlay, cement concrete sidewalks, pedestrian curb ramps, removing and resetting of curb, installation of new granite curb, installing new steel-backed timber guardrail, adjusting drainage structures, loaming and seeding, signing and pavement markings and other various items to complete the roadway improvements. All pre-bid questions concerning the contract documents and the work contained therein must be submitted in writing to, and received by, Ross Morrow P.E., Assistant Town Engineer via email at rmorrow@lexingtonma.gov before Thursday, March 28, 2024. Project value is estimated to be $1,867,622.00.
