The project consists of furnishing the labor, materials, transportation, traffic controls, and equipment necessary for the installation of reflectorized pavement markings and other relevant work throughout DCR properties. This operation will call for two (2) or more truck mounted striping units of painting a minimum of twelve miles of pavement markings (paint of thermoplastic) a day The proposed contract includes a combined requirement of 10.4% of the bid price for minority-owned business enterprises and women-owned business enterprises. Proposed MBE/WBE plans that include solely MBE or solely WBE , or do not include a reasonable amount by both MBE and WBE firms to meet the combined requirements, will not be considered responsive.
