Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan seeks to select a preferred contractor that will perform various small construction /infrastructure improvement projects on an 'if, as and when required' basis, where each project is less than $75,000 in total value (excluding GST). These small projects will be located at various Regional District Community and Regional Parks located throughout the Central Okanagan, and will be performed within a 3-year Standing Offer Agreement term (commencing April 15, 2024 and expiring April 14, 2027). While no minimum volume of work shall be guaranteed to the Contractor selected from this RFP, the Regional District anticipates a steady stream of small projects each year, including but not limited to; park trail and crib steps construction, fence installation, retaining walls, sign installation, ground works for pre-cast washroom placement.
