Renovation of a mixed-use development in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
School District #62 (Sooke) (SD62) requires a Construction Manager to support them in relocating 7 portable classrooms from two school sites. 3 from 675 Meaford Ave, Colwood, David Cameron Elementary and 4 from 2764 Jacklin Rd, Langford, Ruth King Elementary to 4 new sites. These are: 3041 Langford Pkwy, Langford, Belmont Secondary (1 unit); 626 Hoy Lake Rd, Langford, Millstream Elementary (1 unit); 3325 Metchosin Rd, Colwood, Sangster Elementary (3 units); and 3500 Ryder Hesjedal Way, Colwood, Royal Bay Secondary (2 units). SD62 will also be providing a washroom portable to be installed at Millstream Elementary. SD62 is seeking for proposals for a Construction Manager to support dismantling, moving and set up of seven (7) portable classroom buildings and the installation of one portable washroom building. The proposal must include: Transportation inclusive of and all permits and fees associated with relocating the units to the Cities of Colwood and Langford, Relocate, place, anchor, service, make the units whole and functional and provide accessible access to each set of portable classrooms, including the washroom portable, Complete all administrative, architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical and structural works, identified on the attached drawings. References of prior experience relocating portable buildings. Occupancy Permits on or before August 16, 2024
