The Chester School District (CSD) is seeking proposals to Replace the flat roof on our Cafeteria and Gymnasium. The current flat roof is original to the building, constructed in 1999/2000. CSD is a small K-12 school district located in Chester, New Hampshire serving roughly 800 students. CSD facilities include Chester Academy, a K-8 school serving roughly 500 students, and the SAU82 office which is located on the grounds of Chester Academy. CSD high school aged students attend Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH on a tuition basis. Replace the flat roofs at Chester Academy -- 22 Murphy Drive, Chester, NH 03036 Full removal of existing roof materials down to metal deck including old roof materials on walls, curbs, plumbing pipes, and cones Repair of any substructure Dispose of all demolition debris Install insulation, R-30 or greater. Install 1 Layer of Fully adhered 60 mil (or greater) non reinforced black EPDM Rubber All Permits to be obtained by the vendor prior to construction Project to start no earlier than June 24, 2024 Project to be completed no later than August 16,2024 No invoices related to this project to be dated or due prior to July 1, 2024 CSD reserves the right to negotiate with any vendor, to investigate the ability of vendors to complete the project, to waive any formality or requirement, to select any combination of equipment or materials, and to select the proposal that, in the opinion of the CSD Board or staff, best meets the needs of the district.
