Question Cuttoff Date & Time 4/4/2024 02:00:00 PM (CT) The intent of this solicitation is to establish a two-year requirements contract for storm sewer joint seal services for the Public Works and Transportation Department/Stormwater Division. These services shall include but not limited to cleaning, prepping, and sealing of joints. During performance of the work, Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, and materials to control dust at all times. The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. If submitting a paper bid, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late bids will not be accepted. The City of Arlington exclusively uses for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations. The receipt of solicitations through any other means may result in your receipt of incomplete specifications and/or addendums which could ultimately render your bid/proposal non-compliant. The City of Arlington accepts no responsibility for the receipt and/or notification of solicitations through any other means. MWBE PROJECT GOAL: 10.65 % Trades identified for this solicitation includes: Sealing, traffic control. In making a determination that the contractor has made a good-faith effort to meet the City's MWBE goals, the Office of Business Diversity shall consider specific documentation received concerning the steps taken to obtain MWBE participation, with a consideration of the following factors listed on Good Faith Effort Form. The contractor's MWBE commitment percentage is based on the total value of the contract including any change orders and modifications throughout the contract agreement. The criteria used to set a MWBE Contract Specific Goal shall include business availability, the nature of the contract, the City's past experiences with MWBE participation in similar contracts, price competitiveness, subcontracting opportunities, progress towards meeting the annual goal and other relevant factors. A contractor cannot require a MWBE to sign an exclusive arrangement for the purpose of a bid/proposal submittal or enter a non-compete arrangement post award.
