Site work for a water / sewer project in Shallotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Brunswick County is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to replace residential and commercial water meters in the Town of Shallotte. There are approximately 3,400 meters in the Town of Shallotte's metering system. Brunswick County has received an allocation of funds from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds ("Fiscal Recovery Funds") established pursuant to Sections 602 and 603 of the Social Security Act, as added by Section 9901 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 ("ARPA"). This project is being funded using Fiscal Recovery Funds. Contractors interested in being considered for this work must agree to strictly adhere to all terms and conditions of the RFP. Contractors not agreeing to all terms and conditions are expressly prohibited from submitting a proposal for consideration.
