The City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota will receive sealed Bids for the construction of the Emerson Avenue Street Improvements (Project No. 202306). Work is to be completed for the following streets: Emerson Avenue, Sylvandale Road, Sylvandale Court, Sylvandale Court S, Laura Street, Ivy Falls Court, Maple Park Drive, and Ivy Hill Drive. Proposed street improvements include bituminous pavement reclamation, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, concrete curb and gutter repair, watermain replacement, catch basin repair, bituminous surfacing, storm sewer, trails, ADA improvements, and appurtenant work. UTILITIES Approximately 12,000 LF Ductile Watermain, 1,200 LF Concrete Storm Sewer, 45 Storm Sewer Structures, and Appurtenant Work. STREET IMPROVEMENTS Approximately 34,000 SY of Full Depth Reclamation, 3600 CY of Stockpile Aggregate, 3600 CY of Salvage Aggregate from Stockpile, 3,500 CY of Common Excavation, 800 CY of Subgrade Excavation, 8,000 TON Bituminous Pavement, 400 SF of Concrete Walk, 10,200 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter, 2.4 AC Seeding, and 500 LF Multi-Component Striping. Bids shall be for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment to perform all the work in connection with the above stated project. All Bids must be accompanied by a Cash Deposit, Certified Check or Bid Bond, made payable to the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of Bid, conditioned that if the Bidder is the successful Bidder, he will enter into an Agreement with the City in accordance with said bid and will furnish such Performance and Payment Bids as are specified. If the Bidder fails to enter into an Agreement, this deposit will be forfeited as liquidated damages to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in Bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the Bids.
