Option to Renew Contract Period: May 1, 2026 - April 30, 2028 Should you have questions or concerns regarding this bid items, please contact the Town of Fallsburg Utility Billing Department @ 845-34-8810 ext. 313. FAXED bids will not be accepted. The bidder shall submit with his bid a Bid Bond, cash or certified check in the amount of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars as bid security. In the event that the contract is not executed within sixty (60) days of the bid opening date due to the bidder's failure to execute same, the Bid Bond is forfeited to the Town of Fallsburg as liquidated damages for delay and additional work caused thereby. 8. PERFORMANCE: The successful bidder shall furnish to the Town of Fallsburg, at the time of the execution of a contract for the services required by the Town, a Cash Bond and/ or a Performance Bond in the amount of twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) to be held and used when needed for pickup by the Town of Fallsburg or a private contractor to ensure performance of bidders obligation. The Town of Fallsburg may make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work or supply the equipment required, and the bidder shall furnish the Town with all such information and data for this purpose, including financial statements, as the Town may request. The Town of Fallsburg reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by or found in the investigation of the bidder fails to satisfy the Town that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the specification or supply the labor or equipment necessary to perform the scope of work as specified. Conditional bids will not be accepted.
