Question responses will be sent to all contractors on the City of Walnut Creek Public Works "Bidders List" based on the category of work being bid. The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following work: Provide labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete concrete / asphalt removal, curb ramp construction, curb and gutter construction, flat work, and striping improvements. Please see project plans and specifications for more information (Exhibits A and B). Contract Time and Working Hours The Contractor shall begin Work no later than five Working days after the beginning date specified in the Notice to Proceed (which may be hand delivered or sent by email). The Contractor shall complete all the Work on the Project within thirty (30) working days after the beginning date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Working hours and days shall be as follows: 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. No work is allowed on legal holidays and city closure days. Service, supplies, and equipment to be provided by the contractor include, but are not limited to the following: Labor Materials and supplies Tools and equipment Transportation vehicles Administration, management, and maintenance support to perform services as specified Traffic Control Selective demolition, as necessary to complete the scope of work Removal and disposal of all waste Site control and safety General cleanup.
