Maintaining shall include the clean out of accumulated sediment. Materials: The sedimentation control system materials for this work shall meet the following requirements: Hay bales shall be made of hay with 40 lbs. minimum weight and 120 lbs. maximum weight and shall be held together with twine or wire. Geotextile shall meet the requirements of Sections 7.55 and M.08. Construction Methods: Inlet Protection Silt Sack (IPSS) shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturer's requirements. Silt Sack Inlet Protection shall be installed in all catch basin inlets in the active construction area.
