City of Jackson (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Projects: City of Jackson - 93 South Waterline Project - Contract No. 634-07-23 The Project includes the following Work: Contract No. 634-07-23: City of Jackson, 93 South Waterline Project Base Bid 1. Installation of approximately 3,850 LF 10" PVC C909 2. Installation of approximately 375 LF 6" PVC C909 3. Installation of approximately 780 LF 2" PE Service Line 4. Installation of approximately 650 LF 4" Steel Casing Pipe, Bore & Jack 5. Installation of approximately 350 LF 20" Steel Casing Pipe, Bore & Jack 6. Installation of approximately 270 LF of 20" Steel Casing Pipe, Open Cut 7. Six (6) Connections to Existing Water System 8. Thirteen (13) Re-connections to Existing Sewer Service Line 9. Ten (10) 10" Gate Valves 10. One (1) 8" Gate Valve 11. Five (5) 6" Gate Valves 12. Three (3) Fire Hydrant Assembly, Including Watch Valve 13. Placement of approximately 180 LF Type A Trench - Asphalt 14. Replacement of approximately 140 LF Asphalt Driveway 15. Replacement of approximately 200 LF Concrete Driveway 16. Replacement of approximately 340 SY 3" Thick Asphalt Pavement Bids will be received for the following Contract: City of Jackson - 93 South Waterline Project - Contract No. 634-07-23 A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or certified cashier's check must accompany all Bids. After Bid opening, a Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days. Bids will be received for the Contracts listed. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to accept the contract bids separately or the alternative combined bid or any variation thereof. Both the first envelope and second envelope must have the following information in the lower left-hand corner: Name and Address of Bidder, Bid for Contract No. (Perspective Contract Bidding On) - City of Jackson - (Perspective Contract Bidding On), Opening Time 11:00 A.M., L.P.T., on April 11, 2024. Bids will be held for a period of 60 days after bid opening. American Iron and Steel requirements do not apply to this project.
