Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work: C2024-11 Innovation Park Phase 1B - For furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary for the construction of the following approximate quantities: 1,850 LF of 8" to 12" PVC new sanitary sewer main, 2,900 LF of 8" to 16" Ductile Iron new water main; 1,700 LF of small to medium diameter storm sewer; installation of 6 new sanitary manhole structures, water main appurtenances including hydrants, 1,000 sf of concrete sidewalk, 5,000 LF of concrete curb and gutter, 3900 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement, 11,400 tons of dense graded base, 230,000 CY of unclassified excavation and grading, erosion control, storm water and infiltration basin grading and restoration, street lighting, poles, electric conduit and wire, and non-paved surface restoration. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer, subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder bid is accepted.
