The term of the bid shall be from April 15, 2024 thru April 15, 2025. General Conditions are included with this package and bid prices must include all permits, licenses, inspection fees, transportation fees and any other charges, as applicable. Verification of Tennessee Department of Transportation plant inspection may be required. In order for your company's bid to be considered, a completed Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit must be submitted with the bid. Having carefully examined the "General Conditions" contained herein, the Undersigned proposes to supply the following at the bid prices, in accordance with the specifications. The normal bid prices for the different types of asphalt listed below shall be submitted at the time of the bid based on the most current "Basic Bituminous Material Index" WITHDRAWAL OF BID: No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the scheduled time for receiving bids. A bid may be withdrawn prior to the bid opening date and time. Such a request to withdraw should be made in writing to the Hamblen County Highway Superintendent who will approve or disapprove of the request. F. COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT: The Hamblen County Highway Department reserves the right to waive minor informalities in any bid; to reject any or all bids with or without cause; and/or to accept the bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the Hamblen County Highway Department.
