Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project is the replacement of the PVC aeration piping and rubber disc diffusers in three basins. The piping is original as installed in 1991. The diffusers have been replaced once during that time span. The piping is becoming brittle from UV rays and is in need of replacement with new material. The diffusers will be at the end of their life as well. As the rubber ages, the pores become larger producing more air than necessary. This project will be incorporated into our 5 year phased Facility Plan upgrades and eligible for CWFL. This project is included in the city’s fy 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program. As of April 2, 2024, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
