The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Alterations to be completed to an existing conference room to create a new dual sided interview room. Work includes the additions of a new window assembly, new door, new ceiling, new lighting, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes section 4b-92, every general bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) ofthe bid price where the bid price exceeds $49,999.99. In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes section 4a-60g(i), in lieu of a bid bond, a contractor awarded a contract under this RFQ may provide the awarding authority a Letter ofCredit. Any such Letter ofCredit shall be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the contract amount for any contract valued at less than $100,000 and in an amount equal to twenty-five percent (25%) ofthe contract amount for any contract that is valued at or in excess of $100,000. Bids submitted without the required Bid Bond, Certified Check or Letter of Credit shall be rejected.
