Boiler Replacement Project at a Judicial Branch location in Hartford, Connecticut. BID LIMITED TO STATE CERTIFIED SBE/MBE VENDORS/DAS PRE-QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS ONLY The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of existing and temporary heating hot water system(s), including but not limited to, hydronic and natural gas piping, hot water pumps, supports, etc. within boiler rooms. Existing steam boilers and piping located in basement boiler room have been removed under separate scope. Disconnect and salvage temporary skid-mounted boiler and booster pump assembly rentals for removal by Others. 2. Install (3) new natural gas-fired, condensing heating hot water boilers (furnished by Owner), bases, sealed combustion vents, circulating pumps, hydronic specialties, piping, temperature controls, etc. to connect into exterior temporary piping serving rooftop units and indoor existing heating system distribution. New temperature controls to interface with existing DDC system; heating system shall be controlled to function in a temporary heating mode until Phase 2 is executed. 3. Provide new plumbing, fire protection, and electrical power, lighting, and special systems within boiler room necessary to support the boiler system installation. Testing and balancing of installed systems. 4. Refer to the Contract Drawing package (drawings and specifications) entitled Boiler Replacement - Phase 1, as prepared by Salas O'Brien for more specific information and details on the project. Construct the Work in one single phase within 120 days.
