Site work, new construction and renovation of a municipal facility in Hudson, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of September 11, 2024, a construction manage at risk has been selected. The City of Hudson has acquired the property at 1201 Hanley Rd. for the Hudson Police Department and desires to hire a construction management firm to assist with design, evaluate construction options, and complete the renovation. With input from the Hudson Police Department, the design solutions will meet the needs of the staff and fall within the City’s budget. OPN Architects, has been hired to provide A/E design services for the facility. Based on the project scope and anticipated design schedule, we anticipate the project being ready for bid in the summer of 2024 with construction happening thereafter. The City of Hudson, Wisconsin is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management at risk services for the renovation of the facility at 1201 Hanley Rd. The project consists of site work and construction. The intended purpose for the facility is to provide equipment storage areas and general operations for the Hudson Police Department. Consideration will be limited to firms which have demonstrated successful experience in construction management at risk (CMAR) services of a similarly scoped project for private or public-sector owners. Qualified respondents should review the requirements and if interested, must submit a proposal to be considered. Three (3) printed copies and one (1) electronic copy should be sent to Michael Johnson, Interim City Administrator, by 1:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, April 5, 2024.
