Request for Proposal: RFP Geotechnical and Engineering Services for Airport Asphalt Surfaces. Description: Geotechnical investigation and recommendations for long term improvements and care of existing infrastructure. The goals for this project are to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the current conditions of the asphalt surfaces and recommendations for any replacement, remediations, and maintenance of these surfaces. The Rocky Mountain House Airport currently has 850m of taxiways and 1,770m of runway. The General Aviation Apron is 4,650 M2, and the Tanker Base Apron is 12,500 M2. All but the Tanker Base Apron are ACP surfaces, while the Tanker Base is Concrete. Runway 13/31, the Air Tanker Base, and its taxiways have a PLR of 9.0. Taxiway Alpha and GA Apron have a PLR of 6.0. These numbers are to be maintained.
