Site work for a civil project in Alhambra, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work shall include the demolition, and supply and installation of a new bridge culvert structure over Horseguard Creek, located 3 km northwest of Alhambra (SE 18-39-5-W5M). The Contractor shall install the 5.23 m diameter SPCSP culvert by 42.67 m invert length as per the Design Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culverts will be located on square to the local road, centred at Station 5+500.000. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Traffic accommodation - Site isolation, turbidity monitoring, and fish & water accommodation - Demolition and disposal of bridge structures - Excavation, including supply & placement of geotextile filter fabric - Supply and assembly of culvert materials - Backfill, including backfill material testing - Concrete end treatment including concrete testing and small bridge plaque - Supply and installation of substrate holders including heavy rock riprap substrate - Heavy rock riprap erosion protection including geotextile filter fabric - Roadway work - Permanent environmental protection devices Documents can be obtained from https://buildworkscanada.com
