Site work for a mixed-use development in Redwater, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work involves the replacement of approximately 490 meters of 200 mm dia. watermain along 52 Avenue in two phases over two years. Phase 1 – 2024 Supply and Installation of approx. 250 m of 200 mm dia. PVC Watermain via vertical trench Remove and replace three hydrants and restore curb and gutter and sidewalk Supply and install three gate valves Five connections to existing steel watermain Abandon existing steel watermain in place Backfill and restore pavement structure Phase 2 – 2025 Supply and Installation of approx. 20 m of 200 mm dia. PVC Watermain via vertical trench Remove and replace one hydrant and restore curb and gutter and sidewalk Supply and install two gate valves Supply and install one ea. 100 mm dia. valve via hot tap on steel watermain Three connections to existing steel watermain Abandon existing steel watermain in place Backfill and restore pavement structure Documents can be obtained from https://ae-ab.bidsandtenders.ca/ The project was awarded to PME Inc.
