Redwater is a small town in Alberta, located about 50 kilometers northeast of Edmonton off Highway 28. Known for its strong agricultural base and proximity to oil and gas industries, Redwater features a mix of rural charm and industrial activity. The town offers local amenities, parks, and community events, reflecting a close-knit community atmosphere. The Town of Redwater is seeking to retain the services of qualified companies to remove and replace a section of natural gas utility service line, including a line consisting of residential connections. Existing line was installed in 1973 Replacement of 280 metres of 3/4 " line (residential service line for 8 x residences (35 metres per service line)) including main tie in and riser install. Replacement of 153 metres of 50mm (NPS2) steel gas main distribution line. Replacement of 37 metres of 38mm (NPS1 1/2 ) steel service line. Gas line is located at depths of between 3 and 4 feet. A single isolation valve is located on this main distribution line. A line stop will be required. Cathodic connection via a drilled wire line is required. Question Deadline 07/19/2024
