Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
METRO Rail Bridges are inspected on a bi-annual basis. The inspections outlined various items requiring repair. The bridges to be repairs are located at the following street intersections: 1. Fulton Bridge (HB and T) – the bridge is located parallel to Fulton Street between Dorchester and King Streets. 2. Fannin Bridge - the bridge is located on Fannin Street between Pressler Street and Braeswood Boulevard. 3. Main St. Bridge - the bridge is located on Main Street between Commerce and Wood Streets. 4. Kuhlman Structure – The box culvert is located under Martin Luther King Boulevard, just north of Griggs Road. The repairs will require access both above and below the structure, including 2 bridges over water. Additionally, the rail line operates from roughly 4 am to 1 am the following day.
