Demolition, site work, paving and addition to a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of June 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Proposed concrete wastewater bullseye unit, existing blower and control room modifications, existing headworks demo and modifications, paving additions, existing chlorine room modifications Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier's check within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. By submitting a Bid, bidder acknowledges and agrees that the Contract Documents may be accepted, executed, or agreed to using an Electronic Signature, as defined by and in accordance with Owner's Electronic Signature Rules for Construction Contracts. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. DEMOLITION WORK 1. Clearing and Grubbing trees onsite. Includes chipping and hauling. 2. Remove existing 8" gravel road within plant and legally dispose of all material off site (Includes Tensar Triax TX-160 Geogrid) 3. Demolish, and dispose legally off-site existing yard piping, miscellaneous metals, manholes, concrete structures, concrete pads, concrete sidewalks, and concrete foundations per plans. 4. Remove, haul legally dispose off-site existing Blowers and Motor Control Center per specifications. 4A. Remove existing insulation inside blower room and coat white. 4B. Line Clearing of Small Shrubs PROPOSED BLOWER & CONTROL BUILDING - Install Turbo Blowers per Plans and Specification. Includes Prepping Concrete Pad Per Manufacturer Recommendation. If Lone Star blowers are chosen, provide ducting and insulation to remove heat from the room. Provide Temporary Blowers, Piping, and Valving with capacity of 5700 SCFM to keep the plant running complete operating system at each blower building Air piping modifications, proposed piping valves and fittings as shown on plans for a complete operating system at each blower building CIVIL WORK SITE WORK 1. General site preparation work (Includes site stripping, removal of undesirable material (organic material, wet, soft, or loose soil) and rough grading, as necessary, to drain/maintain dry conditions during construction operations, complete in place 2. Site restoration, includes hydro mulch-seeding and restoring site to equal or better conditions PAVING 4. 6"-thick Gravel All-Weather Access Road, complete in place SY 266 5. 7" Reinforced Concrete Pavement, complete in place SY 1,796 $ $ 6. Manipulation of 8-inch subgrade including mixing, compacting and grading. 7. Furnish and spread Lime for Subgrade Stabilization (approximately 41 Lbs/SY - 6% dry lime by dry unit weight). 3.
