Introduction: The Town of Corte Madera is inviting qualified consulting teams to submit a proposal to provide full inspection, partial construction management, and material testing services for the San Clemente Pump Station Outfall Pipe Rehabilitation Project. Project Description & Goals: The San Clemente Pump Station Outfall Pipe Rehabilitation Project is a capital improvement project to replace the corroded outfall pipe and related components of the largest storm water pump station in Corte Madera. Work includes repairing the pump station wall, removing the existing welded steel pipe and manifold and replacing it with HDPE pipe and components; installing new vent pipes, check valves, flexible expansion joints, air valves, discharge header, pipe supports, foundations, and fencing. The Town has already bid and awarded the project to JMB Construction. The contractor is currently ordering long lead time parts and creating submittals. The project is anticipated to start construction on May 13, 2024 and continue to late August (see attachment B for contractor's full schedule).
