Renovation of a residential development in Geneva, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

CR Number: 2108123 The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Exterior Repair & Paint at our West Lake IRA located at 4146 W Lake Rd, Geneva, NY 14456. Repair, replace and stain cedar siding . The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Stain/Paint will be a Sherwin Williams product and the colors will be the same as the existing. Repairs up to100 linear feet of siding/trim/soffit are included in this contract. Work is to be completed within 90 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (project item), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the point of contact. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove and replace rotted cedar siding 2. Resecure siding that is loose / nails have pulled through 3. Resecure soffit unless rotted or broken, then replace. 4. Pressure wash - prep for new stain 5. Caulk gaps and penetrations in the siding assembly with Formula 230 paintable caulking 6. Stain the entire exterior of the house GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bid price is to include all materials, labor, disposal of materials fees and site clean-up. Final acceptance of completed job will be provided by the appropriate Maintenance Supervisor. 2. Work is to be done between the hours of TBD, Monday through Friday. Contractor is advised that this is an occupied home and may be occupied during these times. 3. All tools must be controlled at all times and debris, tools and materials secured and stored at the end of each workday. 4. Any unforeseen conditions that may alter the established price are to be reported to the Plant Superintendent listed above immediately upon discovery. 5. Smoking is prohibited by contractors at all residential and program sites owned by OPWDD. Contract term: 30 days after completion of project Site walkthrough description: Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. Contractors will receive a response within 2 business days after the deadline for submitting questions. All questions and answers will be e-mailed to all contractors that attended the mandatory site visit.
