Project Scope The State seeks a full array of transition services to transition to occupancy and operation of the Elmore facility being constructed will be a four thousand (4,000) bed men's prison facility composed of approximately 1,438,000 square feet. It will be a complex style facility, housing different classifications of inmates in distinct quadrants of the complex. The Elmore Specialized Men's Prison Facility will include the following types of inmate classification housing: restricted, close, medium, and minimum-in and minimum-out. In addition, the facility will include all support spaces to operate a prison including, but not limited to, intake, outside/inside administration, educational/programming space, inside/outside food/laundry/maintenance services, warehouse, correctional industries, vocational education, kennel, and staff/public parking.
