Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Middleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work Includes the Reconstruction of: Lake Street and Dewey Court Street, Including Replacing the Lake Street Boat Landing With a Small Park. Road Work Will Include Spot Repair of Curb and Gutter, Base Removal and Replacement, Upgrading Sidewalk Ramps, Installation of New Sidewalk, Installation of New Watermain, Replacement of Sanitary Sewer, and Installation of New Storm Sewer, Storm Sewer Manholes, and Storm Sewer Inlets. The Roadway Profiles, Alignments and Geometry Will Mostly Remain the Same Except at the East End of Lake Street Where the Roadway Width Will Be Reduced to Allow for Sidewalk Installation. There Will Be No Pre-bid Conference for This Project. No Bid Will Be Received Unless Accompanied by a Surety in a Form Acceptable to the City Equal to at Least 5% of the Maximum Bid, Payable to the Owner. The City of Middleton Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Technicality, and to Accept Any Bid Which It Deems Advantageous. All Bids Shall Remain Subject to Acceptance for 85 Days After the Time Set for Receiving Bids (Consisting of Up to: 60 Days for Issuance of Notice of Award; 15 Days for Contractor to Return Signed Agreements, Bonds and Insurance; and 10 Days for City Execution of Agreement). Contract Award Shall Be Made Based on the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder. The City is flexible on scheduling this work, intended to be pursued sometime between May and October, with completion within 90 calendar days of starting.
