Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Paducah, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and transportation facility.

The project includes the installation of approximately 6,100 feet of 6" and 12" sanitary sewer force main, pipe types include SDR 21 PVC and DR 11 HDPE as specified on the drawings. The project includes boring and jacking 80 feet each of 20" and 14" schedule 40 steel casing beneath KY 358 (Ogden Landing Road) and directional boring beneath Mas- sac Creek and adjacent low-lying areas. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. In accordance with KRS 45A.365, prior to a contract being awarded, a resident bidder of the Commonwealth shall be given a preference against a non-resident bidder registered in any state that gives or re- quires a preference to bidders from that state. The preference shall be equal to the preference given or required by the state of the non-resident bidder. The Paducah McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency (JSA) has adopted a Sub- stance Abuse Policy in accordance with the Drug-Free Work- place Act, in which drug and alcohol use and abuse in the workplace is prohibited. All con- tractors and subcontractors doing business with the JSA shall adhere to a similar Drug-Free Workplace policy. The Paducah-McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency (JSA) reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the bidding process. No bid shall be with- drawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the con- sent of the Owner.
