Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waller, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Katy Court Lift Station No. 2 including but not limited to mobilization, bonds and insurance; construction of a six-foot (6') diameter pre-cast concrete wet well including 100% solids epoxy coating, well point system and dewatering as necessary, complete with installation of two (2) submersible pumps; riser piping, valves, and coatings; fence and gates; concrete pavement; concrete access drive; site work; 24-inch (24") on-site storm piping and storm inlet; 8-inch (8") and 10-inch (10") on-site sanitary sewer piping; on-site manhole; on-site force main; water line downstream of the water meter; RPZ backflow preventer with enclosure; RPZ housekeeping pad; 25-kW diesel engine driven generator with sound attenuated weatherproof level 2 enclosure and 24-hour integral storage tank; generator concrete foundation; automatic transfer switch; manual transfer switch; load bank testing; lift station control panel; control panel concrete foundation; automatic telephone dialer; electrical service; lighting; electrical service disconnect switches; conduit and wire; purchase and delivery of two (2) submersible pumps and accessories outlined in the supplied scope of work; 18-inch (18") off-site and on-site storm piping and storm inlets; trench safety system; storm water pollution prevention plan; construction staking by Quiddity Engineering, LLC; and all else as shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specification for a fully functioning lift station. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier’s check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier’s check within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond each in the sum of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The successful bidder must also provide a one-year (1) Maintenance Bond for one hundred (100) percent of the cost of the construction of Katy Court Lift Station No. 2 for Katy West Municipal Utility District The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board’s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project
