Work to be covered by the bid shall include removal of existing floor tile and mastic. Install new flooring systems, wall base, transitions strips, etc., and all associated work as described in the Construction Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Flooring Contractor E. Wages printed in the Project Manual are for the month of bidding only. Certified Payroll is required to be submitted with all Pay Applications. Bid security payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, shall be executed by the Bidder in the form of certified check, bank draft, or acceptable surety. Successful bidders will be required to perform and provide criminal background checks on all contractors, subcontractors and their employees, agents, or assigns that will be employed on this project prior to commencement of work, at the Contractor's expense.
