DESCRIPTION OF WORK The project includes the installation of seven (7) City-furnished digital marquees at seven (7) recreation centers in El Cajon. The Contractor will provide design and installation specifications for each marquee, including plans and building elevations. Plans shall include specifications on the supplies and materials required to connect each installed marquee to the appropriate power source. Following approval of plans and building elevations, the contractor shall obtain necessary planning entitlement approvals, including, but not limited to a Minor Use Permit (MUP) for all marquees and fulfill any conditions of approval of the MUP, including, but not limited to obtaining necessary permits from the City of El Cajon Building Division. The project also includes additive alternate bid items for the installation of two freestanding marquees as described in section 9.4 of this specifications. The Contractor will provide plans and specifications for the design of both marquee monuments, as well as marquee and monument installation. The plans shall also include aesthetic designs for the marquee freestanding monument, including design of identification panels. The design shall include specifications for any asphalt and turf trenching, and conduit laying. Designs will be approved by the City of El Cajon Parks and Recreation Department.
