This project includes milling, paving, and line painting of streets in Horsham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The extent of the work performed shall include all materials, labor and equipment to perform the necessary construction and rehabilitation as shown and described in the contract documents, specifications and details. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and services necessary for the proper execution of the work for which the contractor has submitted a bid. Questions Due Date: Apr 1st 2024, 1:00 PM EDT Bid surety in the amount often percent (10%) of the bid price is required. A Performance Bond in an amount at least equal to the contract price will be required from the successful low bidder after the contract is awarded. Horsham Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from contract and to waive informality in the bids. Horsham Township Council Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn Within Sixty (60) Days After the Opening Thereof. The successful bidder shall commence work no earlier than June 24, 2024 and shall complete the work on or before August 30, 2024. Work shall be done between the hours of 7AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday (No Weekend Work). Paving must follow no more than three days (3) after milling is complete. Final painting of lines and installment of pavement markings must be completed no more than two (2) days after paving is complete. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. At the option of the bidder, the guarantee may be certified check, or a bid bond in the form attached.
