The "High Impact" asphalt paving project locations are as follows: North 72nd Street - West Capitol Drive to West Congress Street North 73rd Street - West Nash Street to West Potomac Avenue North/South 76th Street - West O'Connor Street to West Bluemound Road North 80th Street - West Vienna Avenue to West Capitol Drive North 90th Court/Street - A point south of West Marion Street to West Congress Street North 90th Street - West Capitol Drive to a point north of West Fiebrantz Avenue North 91st Street - West Capitol Drive to West Congress Street North 95th Street - West Langlade Street to West Rio Street North 98th Court - a point south of West Langlade Street to West Langlade Street West Congress Street/West Sharon Lane - North 100th Street to North 104th Street West Herbert Avenue - West Kathryn Avenue to North 84th Street West Langlade Street - North 95th Street to North Denmark Street West Nash Street - North 35th Street to North Sherman Boulevard West Potomac Avenue - West Nash Street to North 74th Street Time for Completion: All work on North/South 76th Street shall be completed by August 1, 2024. There is a school on this project. All work on all other project locations shall be completed by November 15, 2024. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1000.00/Day The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. One quarter of these hours must be attributable to residents living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53215, and 53233. The SBE requirement for this project is 15% of the contract base bid. The SBE Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. Incomplete SBE Compliance Plans (Form A) or inaccurate SBE Compliance Plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive. The apprenticeship requirements for this project are: N/A If this contract is awarded at $500,000 or higher, 25% of all apprentice labor hours must be worked by apprentices certified for participation in the Residents Preference Program and 40% of all apprentice labor hours must be attributed to apprentices living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53215, and 53233 The contractor shall specifically note the SBE, residency, and apprenticeship forms for this project. If the forms are not filled out properly, it will be cause for rejection of the bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. All Contractors awarded a contract valued at $25,000.00 or more are required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee's B2GNow contract compliance software within 30 days of the contract award date.
