Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Alexandria, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Project work shall consist of the following major items demolition of structures, removal of concrete pavement and backfilling. The contract duration shall be sixty (60) working days. The engineers estimated cost of construction is $150,000.00. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashiers check of Bid Bond written by a surety or insurance company complying with R.S. 38.2218 C. The Bid Bond shall be in the favor of the Owner, and shall be accompanied by appropriate power of attorney. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements noted in R.S. 38.2219 A.(1)(a), (b) and (c). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
