The project includes construction of approximately 10,000 linear feet of new gravity sanitary sewer main adjacent to North Street from the intersection with Woodman Avenue to the intersection with Menge Avenue with manholes and all related appurtenances. The project also includes removal of the existing sanitary sewer mains, manholes and related appurtenances as well as reconnecting sewers to the new main at select locations as part of the base bid. Bid alternate includes replacement of pump station #28. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form payable to the City of Pass Christian in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The project is funded through Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act (GOMESA). The successful bidder must comply with all federal, state and local requirements contained in the Contract Documents, as identified in the bid proposal packet. Minority and Women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.
