Work is anticipated to be completed between May 1, 2024, and November 1, 2024. Fox Run Regional Park is a 417-acre park located near Black Forest, Colorado. The park has five (5) restroom facilities located at various areas in the park. The existing restrooms were built in the late 1980's as a waterless style Clivus composting system with leach field. Due to increased demand over time and the aging of the system, two of these restrooms have been deemed beyond their useful life. The Oak Meadows restroom has been closed since 2020 and is no longer serviceable due to a leach field collapse. The Pine Meadows restroom is operable and open but utilizes a composting waste system. To avoid over-taxing the composting system and bring these restrooms into ADA compliance, the County would like to convert the restrooms into a septic based system and implement ADA compliant features.
