Transit Office Alterations Renovation and expansion for Bristol TN Transit Office. The existing building is about 8,944 square feet. This project involves the renovation of about 2,236 square feet of existing office space to a new configuration and about 1,023 square feet of existing storage into new office space to expand the existing office area. No work will be done to the remaining areas of the building. This project does not include any new space, nor does it include any structural work. Construction will consist of, but is not limited to, the following: Metal stud and gypsum wallboard construction, new hollow metal door frames, new solid core wood doors and hardware, new plastic laminate casework, new aluminum windows and related HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical work as required to provide a fully functional and habitable space. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each proposal by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond to the City of Bristol, TN. The successful Vendor shall furnish approved Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. Successful vendors are required to comply with the City of Bristol, TN insurance requirements. Project Completion Deadline by September 15, 2024 Liquidated Damages to be assessed at $200 per day beyond completion date.
