The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino is seeking qualified licensed contractor(s) to perform exterior stucco repair, wood trim repairs, and painting and services at an affordable housing complex in the city of Yucaipa. The main site was constructed in 2002. All units shall be considered be occupied for the duration of the project. PROJECT SCOPE Contractor shall supply materials, labor and equipment necessary to repair stucco surfaces, repair or replace exterior wood trim, and paint all exterior surfaces of all buildings, structures, exterior doors, fences (masonry and metal), railings, metal work, structural metal, sheet metal, and other accessories throughout the complex (excluding the parking structures). The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, the DIR established a Contractor Registration Program, in which no contractor or subcontractor shall bid on, be listed in a bid, or engage in the performance of any public work contract without being registered. Prime Contractor must have a valid Class "C-33" Contractor's License. The time allowed for completion for the project shall be 60 Calendar days. Liquidated Damages $250 Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or a bidder's bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of total bids made payable to Fresno Unified. The estimate for this project is around $125,000 per site for Yosemite Tentative Date for Awarding of Contract / Start of Work: April 29, 2024 The substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments in accordance with Public Contract Code Section 22300 is permitted. **Pre-bid Notes: School sites are using the Raptor visitor management system that requires all visitors to show either a government-issued identification card or driver's license to receive a badge and enter the campus.
