Reference Number 0000346991 This project will consist of interior demolition and renovations, as well as, limited exterior facade maintenance work to the existing Skyhawk Hall on the campus of Fort Lewis College. The building is currently used as a classroom type facility consisting of three, approximately 1,000 square foot classrooms, one large group assembly/multi-purpose classroom approximately 35-0 x 45-0 and ancillary spaces including multi-stall men's and women's toilet rooms and necessary spaces for mechanical, electrical, janitorial and storage. Construction consists of wood frame, wood truss and shingled roof system, split-face concrete masonry unit wainscot and stucco veneer. Interior walls and ceilings are predominantly gypsum board - painted. Flooring is typically 12 x12 VCT and ceramic tile in the restrooms, with sealed concrete in infrastructure related areas/rooms. This renovation work will convert the classroom spaces into new specialized laboratory, office and support spaces consistent with a new nursing/medical related facility.
