Renovation of a residential development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Replace the tongue and groove decking on the porch of the Borden Building in Fred Fletcher Park and repairing the porch as needed. Painting the deck of the Borden Building and the attached ramp. The project is to replace the tongue and groove decking on the porch of the Borden Building as well as the sideboards as needed. The porch is approximately 45' x 12'. After replacing and repairing the porch, the new decking will need to be painted to match the original color. Also, the side ramp will need to be painted as well to match. The side ramp is approximately 23' x 11'. As the building is a historic structure, everything that is being replaced much match the original in style, color, and material. Due to the nature of the space as an active site, the work project will need to be scheduled around programs and events. The current requested work dates to start and finish the project are July 1st - July 18th. City Response to Questions (anticipated) 4/12/24 The Contract shall have an initial term of one year, beginning on the date of the Contract award (the "Effective Date"). At the end of the Contract's current term, the City shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to a total of one additional one-year term. The City will give the Contractor written notice of its intent whether to exercise each option no later than 30 days before the end of the Contract's then-current term. In addition, the City reserves the right to extend a contract term for a period of up to 180 days in 90-day-or-less increments. The City of Raleigh prohibits discrimination in any manner against any person based on actual or perceived age, race, color, creed, national origin, sex, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, familial or marital status, religion, economic status, or veteran status. Complete and submit the MWBE Participation Form (Appendix IV) with your proposal The City reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the proposer of the conditions contained in this Request for Proposals. Proposals marked entirely as "confidential", "proprietary", or "trade secret" will be considered non-responsive and will be removed from the evaluation process. Questions submitted via telephone will not be answered.
