Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Working hours must fall within limits of permits. No extension of time will be granted for Saturday, Sunday, or holidays. The successful bidding contractor is responsible for cold mix/concrete/rock removal, compaction, curb & gutter replacement, sidewalk panel replacement, saw-cutting, curb & gutter chops and all traffic control. Tentative start date: 7/22/2024 Contractor will agree to pay $500 per calendar day, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages in case of failure to meet contracted completion dates. Payment by the Contractor of liquidated damages does not release the Contractor from its obligation to fully and timely perform the contract according to its terms and conditions.
