The project will utilize colored poured concrete and enhanced scoring patterns in the replacement roadway and crosswalks to clearly define these areas. The existing concrete band along this section of roadway will remain in place, as well as the existing concrete pavers that are located outward of the concrete band. Two (2) new removable bollards shall be installed, with one at each end of the drive lane. All existing underground utility structures shall remain in place and will be adjusted vertically as required to remain flush with the finished roadway. This project also includes an Add Alternate #1 to complete similar scope of work for an additional section of the E. 17th Ave. roadway located several hundred feet to the east.
