Deep Cleaning & Restoration for S/B I-95 Welcome Center Restrooms. This project is anticipated to take fifteen (15) calendar days to complete (from setup to removal of containment and disposal Question Deadline 03/29/2024 at 1:00 PM ET During a site inspection it was found that there was a significant roof leak located in the rest room entrance ways to both the Men's and Ladies Restrooms resulting in water damaged fiberglass batt insulation wood framing and Gypsum board ceiling. The roof located above the water damaged area has been temporally patched and the roof system is scheduled to be replaced. The Administration has asbestos and lead paint data reports that will be available to the awarded contractor. The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is soliciting lump sum bids for deep cleaning, duct cleaning and restoration at the Administration's I-95 South Bound Welcome Center Men's and Ladies Restrooms Located in Laurel, Maryland. The area incorporated into this Work Plan consists of the deep cleaning of the interior of a 2,260 SQ FT Restroom Building including the 8' x 26'entrance way and a Family restroom. ( Note: to limit the need for the administration to having to provide temporary facilities the work shall be done in stages Family Restroom, the Men's Restroom and then the Ladies Restroom).
