The project entails the renovation of the Instrumental Building - F4 at Monta Vista High School. Improvements will include both interior and exterior. The work includes interior finishes, electrical and lighting systems, mechanical and plumbing improvements, fire alarm systems, as well as interior and exterior painting. Additionally, exterior improvements consist of grading, paving, storm sewer installation, landscape, and enhancements to ensure accessible path of travel improvements. The project also includes the construction of a 2,000 square feet separate building that will contain a Percussion Studio and Instrumental Storage facility and a covered walkway connecting the two buildings. This project may also include the installation and infrastructure for new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Tentative Award and Notice to selected developer. Completion Date: Spring 2025 Fremont Union High School District ("District") is seeking proposals from qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to provide design, constructability review, value engineering, master scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and construction services for the development and construction for the Monta Vista High School Music Building F4 Modernization Project ("Project"), in accordance with the lease-leaseback structure set forth in Education Code section 17406 et seq. All Respondents must have already been prequalified by the District in accordance with Public Contract Code, 20111.6. First tier electrical, mechanical, and plumbing subcontractors are required by Public Contract Code, 20111.6 and must be prequalified prior to subcontractor bids are submitted.
