Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Blue Ash, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Blue Ash 2024 Sidewalk Program Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Council of the City of Blue Ash shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council's judgment, offers the best and most responsive proposal to the City, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids. The City may award based on "functional equivalence" concerning specified work or products. The Council of the City of Blue Ash, Ohio, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. 1. Cooper Road Sidewalk Replacement The Contractor shall remove the existing paver sidewalk and replace with a 6.5 FT wide concrete sidewalk. The new walk shall be ADA compliant with a cross slope not exceeding 1.5%. As marked by the City some driveway aprons shall be removed and replaced to meet the elevation of the sidewalk, where the walk is installed to drain toward the residential property. Some of the properties along Cooper Road have an elevation below the surface pavement of the roadway with storm inlets located on the property at back of walk for drainage. These properties will have the walk installed to slope back toward the property and the driveway approaches replaced to match the elevation of the new walk. All walk and driveway aprons shall meet current ADA requirements. Sidewalks shall be installed at a minimum of 5" thickness on a compacted subgrade, two (2) dowels shall be drilled into adjacent existing slabs.2. Fallsington Court Full Curb Replacement The Contractor shall remove and replace the existing deteriorated curb and gutter. The Type 3 curb and gutter shall be placed on a compacted subgrade, and two (2) dowels shall be drilled into adjacent curb. Expansion and two (2) dowels shall be placed at bulk heads each day, in preparation for the next day's pour. Expansion shall be placed at each storm inlet. Concrete Aprons shall be replaced with project, as needed and directed by the City. 3. Plainfield & Hunt Roundabout Landscape Wall The work consists of installing a concrete wall in the center island of the roundabout located at the intersection of Plainfield Road and Hunt Road. The wall shall be constructed, as per plan with electric, stone veneer, and lighted signs. The contractor will bore two (2) 4" conduits from the southwest location of the intersection to the center ball, one conduit will be used to install the electric for the sign and the other will be used for future use. The Stone Veneer shall be "Provia - Limestone (Allegheny)" to match the wall located north at the Peppermill & Plainfield roundabout.
