The County is requesting proposals from qualified offerors to provide solid waste transportation and/or disposal services to the County. This includes a landfill disposal site and fee, transportation of solid waste from the transfer station to a DEQ permitted facility and transportation from the County's five (5) convenience sites to the transfer station. The County reserves the right to make multiple awards or award to one firm, whichever is in the best interest of the County. The selected firm will also be required to transport recycling material from the convenience sites to the various material recycling processing facilities as directed by Warren County. No questions will be answered by phone. A bid bond may be required for construction contracts and other contracts which fall outside the scope of this section. Please refer to the County's procurement solicitation for any additional bonding requirements, which are incorporated herein by reference The amount of the bid bond shall not exceed 5% of the amount bid id bond, a certified check, cashier's check, or cash escrow in the face amount requirement for the bond. The County may cancel or reject an Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposal, other solicitation, and any bids and proposals submitted in response thereto.
